Our Doctors

Greetings

In 2001, I graduated from Nagasaki University School of Medicine and joined the Department of Ophthalmology at Kyushu University. After earning my doctorate in immunology, I moved to Boston, USA, where I engaged in research on refractory ocular inflammatory diseases. Upon returning to Japan, I resumed my work at Kyushu University and its affiliated hospitals, focusing mainly on the care and research of uveitis and other ocular inflammatory diseases. From 2015, I was in charge of a branch of Hayashi Eye Clinic, providing community eye care in Nishi Ward, Fukuoka, and the Itoshima area. In October 2018, I opened Takeru Eye Clinic on the second floor of Fine Garden Takatori, in the “Takatori Shopping Street” section of the “Sazae-san Street” shopping street that connects Nishijin and Fujisaki subway stations. Drawing on the academic knowledge I have built up, I strive to provide accurate diagnoses and easy-to-understand explanations. Please feel free to consult me about any concern regarding your eyes.

Our concept

Accurate care and clear explanations
← Growth and potential: our forward-looking medical staff continue to improve themselves across a wide range of fields, and we build clinic facilities that let us convey increasingly advanced and complex eye care in a simple, accessible way.

Care you can feel at ease with
← Connection: we provide sincere care in a comfortable environment that is easy to visit, and maintain good relationships with other healthcare professionals so that our patients receive the medical or surgical treatment they need.

A happy workplace
← Gratitude and respect: by keeping our staff healthy in body and mind, we can meet everyone with warmth and kindness.
There is no seniority-based hierarchy here.

I sometimes play the piano.
You are welcome to come and listen.

I was invited to perform at the reception of the Kyushu Ophthalmological Society meeting on May 27. Thank you.
