About How We Explain Your Condition

We do our utmost to explain in plain language, showing large images on a monitor placed right in front of the patient and their family.

Explanations of fundus diseases (retina, glaucoma, uveitis, and so on) can span several conditions, so they are inevitably complicated.

Even for diseases with the same name, each person’s condition can be quite different, and a general explanation is often difficult.

In my daily practice, I try to convey accurately “how worried you need to be.”

It is hard to picture what is inside the eye, and I think it is quite difficult to relay it accurately to your family when you get home.

I am always happy to explain to your family on a separate day if you wish. Please do not hesitate to ask.
