The shopping streets connecting Fujisaki Station to Nishijin Station on the subway (Fujisaki-dori Shopping Street – Takatori Shopping Street – Nishijin Nakanishi Shopping Street – Nishijin Chuo Shopping Street – Nishijin Orange-dori Shopping Street) are said to have been named “Sazae-san Shopping Street” after Machiko Hasegawa. Starting with the Sazae-san Parade at 9:30 today, various events are planned until evening. Please come out and join in.

The 2018 Sazae-san Shopping Street Dream Festival (formerly the Katsutaka Dream Festival) will be held on Sunday 10/7.
The shopping streets from Nishijin Station to Fujisaki Station will become one, holding a parade, stalls, and various events in each shopping street.
Please invite your neighbors and come have fun ♪
From 9 AM, a Shinto ceremony (praying for the prosperity of the shopping streets and for the Hawks to win the Japan Series) will be held in front of the Katsutaka Suijin Shrine, and from 9:30 a parade will start from the Orange-dori Shopping Street and go to near Fujisaki Station.
After that, from 11 AM, each shopping street will offer various events.
There are many fun attractions such as food stalls and lottery machines, so please come with your family.
There is also a One-Day Food Festa, a food-hopping event within the shopping streets.
There are many delicious shops in the Nishijin shopping streets, so please try going around to various places ♪
