Medical Care for Patients under 18 Years of Age

At our clinic, we believe that a fundamental aspect of treatment is ensuring that both the patient and their family fully understand the medical condition and treatment plan.

In particular, for children who may not be able to verbally express their symptoms clearly, visual explanations using examination images and other aids are especially important to ensure an accurate understanding of their eye condition.

Therefore, for patients under 18 years of age, depending on the examination results and the progression of symptoms, we may ask parents or guardians to visit our clinic again at a later date for a detailed explanation.
In some cases, we may also provide explanations over the phone.

Eye conditions often change over time, even if they appear to have mild symptoms during the initial examination.

To protect children’s eyes long-term and ensure effective treatment, it is essential to provide accurate information to their parents or guardians.

Therefore, for future explanations and to schedule clinic visits, we kindly request that you register a phone number where you can always be reached, including during daytime hours.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
