It is hard to find where things are written on the website 🙂↕️
If you simply ask the AI assistant at the bottom (bottom right) of this screen in your own words,
it will answer from the text we have written on this website so far.
It should also be useful for asking about anything unclear after your visit.
Clinic Information and Access: Now Easy to Check with AI

About a month has passed since we added the AI chat.
You can ask questions at any time from the bottom (bottom right) of the screen.
Those who have noticed it are finding it very convenient.
You can ask the AI anything about our care, location, hours, and more.
Besides administrative matters such as access and appointments, you can also ask questions about medical care.
Please also use it to fill in explanations you missed during your visit or things that were hard to follow.
Because the AI is available 24 hours a day, you can ask questions at any time outside clinic hours.
- What is the current state of my eyes?
- Thecauseof a disease / treatment options
- Whether surgery is needed and so on.
Understanding the eyes is very difficult.
When I first began studying ophthalmology, there was a lot I could not understand at first.
Since opening, I have written explanations of eye diseases as clearly as possible.
I have gone into particular detail on frequently asked questions and symptoms.

“What did they tell you at the eye clinic today?”
So that family members at home can understand too, we sometimes hand over a link to the relevant section of the website.
This makes it easier for patients to share hard-to-follow eye information with their families, and deepens their understanding of the diagnosis and treatment plan.
I want to explain things clearly to patients and make the staff’s work as convenient and efficient as possible,
so I thought it through myself and set an operating policy that combines many IT tools.
In 2018, few clinics were attempting to bring IT into their practice.
We have introduced new IT technologies such as an online reservation system
(though a reservation system turned out not to be well suited to ophthalmology care).
The AI chat we introduced this time should be very useful.
We will keep training the AI and make it better.

This website is entirely self-made, and we continue to update it using WordPress.
We work every day to provide accurate information that is useful to patients.
To keep improving the content, we also take in feedback from patients.

The AI chat suggests appropriate questions based on your symptoms and concerns, helping to draw out more detailed information.
→ Starting from a casual question, it suggests the next question.
Drawing on my experience studying ophthalmology and immunology research since 2001, and working at Kyushu University Hospital, Hayashi Eye Clinic branch (Itoshima), and many other part-time posts, I seem to have thought about a great many things.
This has led to our current style of care and the introduction of various IT tools.
For patients, understanding the eyes is truly difficult.
On the hardware side, we placed a vertical monitor right in front of the patient to help with explanations.
I thought a monitor placed above would make it harder for the explanation to get through.
Direct, visual information helps understanding.
We place great importance on providing information efficiently in a short time.
As our website has grown to contain a lot of content,
the AI chat helps you pull out just the information you need.
We want to keep providing care that is easy for patients to understand.
