Picture Books and Reading Aloud

Many small children visit us. I have been able to see picture books being read aloud several times.

The wooden picture book stand beside the entrance was a gift for our opening from Dr. Shigematsu of Takatori Ladies Clinic across the street. We also received picture books from Dr. Yamana, an ophthalmologist, and from Nagahama Jam Cafe.

For those who come with children, please read picture books to them while you wait or after your visit, as time allows. The stories and beautiful pictures should expand children’s imagination.

Of course, adults are also very welcome to pick them up. From time to time, we would like to add good picture books.
