Happy New Year 2025

This is now the seventh year since the clinic opened.

An “ophthalmology clinic without surgical facilities.”
I simply tried doing things the way I thought they should be done.

We are a small eye clinic in the Takatori shopping street.
Since opening, we have kept updating the clinic,
and we now have equipment that lets us understand almost everything about the eyes.

Uveitis, glaucoma, children’s eyes (pediatric ophthalmology), English-language care, and more:
we focus on conditions that are managed without surgery,
and we are able to care for a great many patients.

We have no partnership with any contact lens retailer.
Eye care covers a wide range, and the time each visit takes is hard to predict.

Until March 2024, we worked with a small team.
Now there are more of us working together.
Everyone on the team has wonderful abilities.

Along with kind, attentive care, we have been able to keep waiting times as short as possible.

Before I became independent in 2018, while I was still working at Kyushu University and affiliated hospitals,
“Explaining the eyes is so difficult,”
was what I thought day after day.

Now that I can turn my own ideas into reality,
I place a monitor where patients can see it easily
and explain using images from this website that I made myself.

Please ask us until you understand, whether it is “What is the current state of my eyes?” or “What is the cause?”

Our care centers on taking the time to explain.

Depending on how busy we are, we may split the explanation into parts.
After finishing with the next patient, we will continue our conversation.

We keep learning about new technologies every day.
We will keep working to explain things more clearly.

Thanks to connections with many fellow doctors, we are able to provide smooth care.
Thank you always.

Thank you also to everyone in the shopping street for being so friendly to us.
Nishijin Shopping Street = the shopping street that runs from Nishijin Station to Fujisaki Station; also known as “Sazae-san Shopping Street.”

This year, too, all of us will work hard in caring for our patients.
Thank you very much for your continued support.
