○ There is no change to our open days or hours.
○ Please be sure to wear a mask when you visit.
For those who cannot prepare one,
we have simple masks that can be used just during the exam.
Please ask at reception.
○ To avoid crowding in the waiting room, we are adjusting appointment slots and so on.
As of today (April 12, 2020), the times when the clinic is crowded have almost disappeared.
We have also reduced the number of chairs in the waiting room.
○ Tests for first-time contact lens wearers and fitting tests for orthokeratology have been postponed.
This is because they take a lot of time, including practice putting the lenses in and out.
For those with a history of contact lens use, care continues as usual.
○ Kinetic visual field testing (Goldmann perimetry) has been postponed except in urgent cases.
(Urgent: when a brain disease, orbital disease, or optic nerve disease is suspected, for example)
○ Other necessary tests and procedures will be carried out as usual as far as possible.
We will consider whether to postpone them according to urgency.
○ Depending on the number of people, we keep the automatic entrance door open.
○ While respecting privacy, we also try to keep the door open during exams as much as possible.
○ We have installed an acrylic partition at the reception counter.
It prevents droplet infection for both patients and medical staff.
○ Many conditions, such as cataract, are not urgent,
but if you have any symptom that worries you, please do not hesitate to see us.
○ If anything else is unclear, please contact us at any time. Thank you.
