Face-Recognition AI Camera: Automatic Temperature Screening at the Clinic Entrance

One month has passed since we installed athermography camera (thermal camera / face-recognition AI camera)at the clinic entrance.

We ask every person to have their temperature checked at each visit.

All staff members also have their temperature taken every day.

Advantages of using a thermal camera / face-recognition AI camera

○ Medical staff do not need to stand at the entrance or inside the clinic to take temperatures.

○ Temperature is measured instantly just by looking at the screen.

○ A monitor linked to the thermography camera is installed inside the reception counter:
No alarm sounds in the waiting room, and the receptionist can visually check each patient’s temperature.
→ If a temperature of 37.5°C or higher is detected, we ask the person to have their temperature taken with a regular thermometer.
(No one has come in with such a reading yet.)

✔ For those who are not wearing a mask, we give them a handmade nonwoven mask.
