Year-End Greeting 2022

We finished the year’s appointments on December 28.
I am grateful that we were able to care for the eyes of so many people again this year.

  • The state of my own eyes, and what the outlook is
  • An environment where children can also be tested and seen with peace of mind
  • English-language care
  • Uveitis and scleritis: even when calm, the worry of not knowing when inflammation will occur

We are making an effort to be of help to everyone with eye diseases other than those needing surgery.

When something is beyond our scope, we receive help from doctors connected with Kyushu University.
Thank you for letting us see so many patients again this year.

Since opening, we have been able to add ophthalmic equipment one piece at a time.

  • Understanding the current state of the eyes broadly
  • Increasing treatment options

In our fifth year, we can now handle a wide range of eye diseases other than those needing surgery.
The number of full-timecertified orthoptistshas grown, which also seems to be helping to shorten waiting times.

In the examination room, we explain using the monitor in front of you.
We also show the explanatory images on this website on an iPad as we talk.

This is so that you can look at them at any time after you go home.
We are gradually expanding our self-made website, trying to make it as easy to understand as possible.

Please try following the “tags” that appear when you scroll down.

It is very hard to explain eye information to your family yourself after going home:
If your family has any questions, please come again at any time.

On December 23, we replaced the Macs in the clinic, making things even easier to use.
The position of the monitor showing the state of the eye (anterior segment) has changed, making it easier to see.

Besides eye care and building the website,
I am also involved a little in running the Takatori Shopping Street.

This year, too, we were able to hold a family concert with performers active on the front line.
We will keep planning events that children enjoy, all together.

Thank you for your continued support.
