Updated December 2024
At present, an appointment is not required.
We have been able to expand our certified orthoptists and reception/medical administration staff.
Everyone is working hard so that we can finish as close to schedule as possible!
The reservation system we have used since opening is still in place.
Ways we shorten the time spent on explanations:
During the exam, we explain using images from this website
→As a supplement to the explanation,we hand over a link to the relevant section
After you get home, “What did they tell you at the eye clinic?”
→ Please read it together with your family, too, to help explain it to them
Our Appointment Policy (March 2024)
Thanks to the trust of our patients, we now see so many patients that at times it exceeds our capacity.
To keep waiting times short, we set up IT systems before opening and planned to use a reservation system as well.
But we realized early on that things did not go as we had expected.
Why an appointment time sometimes “has no meaning”:
Because ophthalmology decisions are made on the spot, an exam can take anywhere from 5 minutes to a long time.
We see all kinds of eye diseases, from newborns to older adults, and explain until you understand (English-language careis available too).
There seem to be trends by season, day of the week, and day.
We made an illustration of the general trends.

(This differs from businesses that can divide their time into fixed slots, such as hair salons, lessons, chiropractic clinics, beauty salons, and restaurants.)

We decided to keep the time-slot reservations as they are.
We tell patients that it is fine whether or not you make an appointment.
It is very helpful if you fill in theonline questionnaire.
Please write as much as you need about your symptoms and anything you would like to ask.
We will do our best to keep to the scheduled time.
We will do our best to keep to the scheduled time.
Sometimes the exam is over quickly.
But on some days, an appointment can lose its meaning.
Please allow extra time when you visit.
From the end of March 2024, the number of full-timecertified orthoptistswill increase.
We will continue to work hard together to care for you.
Please ask us anything you would like to know.
Thank you very much.
